Anthony Joshua is still one of the hottest properties in boxing, despite his back-to-back losses against Oleksandr Usyk, AJ is hot on the lips of the biggest and best heavyweights in the division, Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder.
It’s three losses in his last four fights for AJ, but he is still set for a title shot later this year when he takes on The Gypsy King in December.
But Fury isn’t the only heavyweight after Joshua, with Wilder slamming him recently, saying he was completely different to the Brit.

When talking about a potential fight with Joshua, The Bronze Bomber went on to say: “I’m willing and able for everybody. Still wanna whoop that ass…
“I’m not gonna rob the fans of not making that fight happen. I definitely want that fight to happen. I just wanna know if they’re for real.”
When talking about how to make the negotiations between camps easier, Wilder said: “We’re gonna have to go to California and all just light one up and discuss it man.

“That’s a good idea. You can see Shelly Finkel passing it to Eddie Hearn, Joshua passing it to me. That’s so funny.”
The Bronze Bomber is adamant he is the better fighter and a different breed to AJ, stating: “They made Anthony Joshua. They made him. We’re born to do it, not made. Even [in the 2012] Olympics, they gave him that [gold] medal.
“They bought a lot of the belts. The way they moved him and prepared him for certain moments, he was not ready for it.”
Could this fight happen?
There’s nothing to say it won’t be possible to see Wilder and Joshua go toe-to-toe in the ring, but we may have to wait for a while as AJ is gearing up for a mammoth fight with Fury, and the outcome of that could have a huge impact on the possibility of this fight.
If AJ defies the odds and beats Fury, then he has the power and the WBC title and could then look at a trilogy fight with Usyk for the undisputed tag in the heavyweight division.
