The WWE Extreme Rules Premium Live Event is set to take place on Saturday, October 8th 2022 from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA.

October has traditionally been a month for big stipulation shows for the WWE. The first-ever Hell in a Cell match between Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker took place on October 5th 1997, a date that will live on in the minds of wrestling fans for decades to come.

Extreme Rules taking place in October is a new change to the company’s PLE schedule, as usually, it was an event that took place in September.

Hell in a Cell would traditionally take place in October, although it was moved to earlier in the year for 2022 and featured an incredible match between Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in the main event!
