The new Playstation State of Play event revealed that a new God of War Ragnarok limited edition controller will be released.

The huge franchise has been around for many years and the upcoming game, Ragnarok, is developed by Santa Monica Studio and will be published by Sony Interactive.

The story is loosely based on Norse mythology and will be set in ancient Norway. That being said, the game’s main protagonist Kratos is back along with his son Atreus.

With new information around this game being released frequently, excitement is at an all-time high, and it will be higher after gamers find out about this special edition controller.

God of War Ragnorak Reveal New limited edition controller

The announcement of a new special edition controller in collaboration with God of War Ragnorak is definitely a surprising but welcomed one.

The Playstation Twitter Account revealed this great news with a video showing exactly what the God of War Ragnarok limited edition controller will look like. Have a look at the controller down below!

Playstation also revealed more details about the controller in their Playstation Blog. Here is what they had to say about the limited edition God of War Ragnarök DualSense wireless controller: “Its two-tone, cool blue on icy white design was inspired by the Norse world of Midgard, further embellished with bear and wolf insignia – representing Kratos and Atreus.”

The God of War: Ragnarök Limited Edition DualSense Wireless Controller is now available to pre-order now at GAME! It will cost £69.99.

For those who do God of War Ragnarök launches on PS4 and PS5 on Wednesday 9th November 2022.

Sadly for now, the game is just a Playstation exclusive, and this means that those on Xbox and Nintendo Switch will not be able to play the game.
