Nigeria's new home and away kits have been released and they are as bold as ever.

The Super Eagles have a rich history when it comes to kits.

Their jerseys are always unique and tend to be the most stunning around.

And the kits that they have released in 2022 are much of the same when it comes to uniqueness.

The jerseys were revealed by Nike on Thursday morning and you can view them below...

NIGERIA'S NEW KITS

Of Nigeria's home kit, Footy Headlines write: "The Nike Nigeria 2022 home shirt features a garish design with an all-over hand-drawn pattern covering the entirety of the front and sleeves in two shades of green. Dark green cuffs and white logos complete the look."

While their away kit is predominantly white with a tinge of green and a pattern on the sleeves.

They are certainly bold but, unlike Nigeria's previous kits, the reaction isn't overwhelmingly positive.

Many football fans are split when it comes to how much they like the kit.

Some love them...

While others don't rate them very highly at all...

Unfortunately for Nigeria, the kits will not be on show at the 2022 World Cup.

Nigeria have played in each ot the last three World Cups and five of the last six editions.

But they were unable to qualify for this year's tournament's in Qatar.

After topping Group C in qualifying, they were drawn to play Ghana in the playoffs. The victor would secure their place at the World Cup finals.

Nigeria were favourites to qualify after drawing 0-0 in the first leg in Ghana.

But a 1-1 draw in the return fixture in Abuja meant Ghana progressed on away goals and ensured that Nigeria would watch the finals at home.

The finals will kick off in November. Ghana have been placed in Group H alongside Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.

Cameroon, Morocco, Tunisia and Senegal, the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations champions, are Africa's four other representatives.
