Warzone 2 has just been officially announced, with so much new information released about the upcoming title, but will the game be free to play?
The first instalment in the ‘Warzone’ series was released back in 2020 and took the gaming world by storm. It was no doubt one of the most popular games of that time and was played by a mass amount of players due to the world being in a state of lockdown thanks to Covid-19.
Now the popular game is getting its first-ever reboot, going by the title of Warzone 2.0.
The new title will feature an entirely new map, completely new vehicles, a new gulag, a plethora of new features and so much more.
One thing that made the first game so popular was the fact it was completely free to play for everyone and could be downloaded from the store on your respected platform.
So this begs the question, will Warzone 2 be free to play? Find out the answer by scrolling down below.
Will Warzone 2 be free to play?
It has been confirmed that Warzone 2 will be free to play for all!
This was confirmed to us via the official confirmation of Warzone 2 by Infinity Ward via their patch notes on their website.
We also received an official release date for the title, which will officially be released on November 16th 2022.
The first game had over 125 million players dropping in to partake in some gun-slinging warfare, so we anticipate the second instalment of the franchise will be massively popular.
Warzone 2 will be released alongside Call of Duty Modern Warfare II Season One. The new COD title looks to be one of the best ever, with so much packed into the new game for avid gamers to sink their teeth into.
