There are going to be four versions of the game overall.
There will be the base Football Manager 2023 that releases on PC, which could be termed the series’ bread and butter.
There will also be a version of the game titled FM23 Console that will hit PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
FM23 Mobile is as it sounds, and will be available for purchase on iOS and Google Play.
FM23 Touch rounds out the selection and, per SI, will be downloadable on Nintendo Switch and Apple Arcade.
There have been no full feature details revealed as of yet but that will happen in October, while there will also be gameplay released.
As per FM Scout, we now have a clear look at what the match engine is going to look like.
It looks very similar to the FM22 match engine, albeit with some tweaks.
The shouts, mentality, instructions and tactics & subs options have moved, and now sit atop the players’ names and stamina bars.
The graphics look impressive for a Switch and Apple Arcade release, and it may assuage any fears over what the game is going to look like when it finally hits storefronts.
