Tyson Fury: Footage of him sparring ahead of potential Anthony Joshua fight

Tyson Fury Sparring Ahead Of AJ Fight

Tyson Fury is all but set to take on Anthony Joshua later this year, with the two teams finally agreeing on terms, with just the formalities of an official confirmation to be released.

The Gypsy King wanted to take on Oleksandr Usyk in an undisputed bout, but as the Ukrainian wants a longer break, he has turned his attentions to AJ.

He wants to put on a mega fight for his home nation, so what better way to do that and call out the other best British heavyweight.

Current state of play for the fight

AJ’s team confirmed that they have agreed to the terms of the fight presented to them by Fury’s side, with just Fury now needing to accept.

They have decided to wait and pay their respects to Queen Elizabeth II who sadly passed away last week. With her funeral at the start of next week, we could expect to see the fight announced after that.

No location has been officially confirmed, however it is likely to be held in the UK, with the Principality Stadium leading the way with the bookies.

Tyson Fury is preparing

Like we’ve said, it isn’t official yet, but it may as well be, with a clip from Fury’s sparring session being shared to social media, showing him preparing for the fight which is all but ready to go ahead.

He wouldn’t be training for a fight if it wasn’t guaranteed you’d think, so we can definitely get excited over the prospect, drooling at the chance to see the two greats of the game go at one another.

Although only a short clip so we can’t really judge where he’s up to, he was keeping in with his training whilst ‘retired’ which led us all to believe that this comeback was going to happen, so you’d imagine he is in good shape already.

It’s almost three months till the fight is pencilled in to take place, so to see Fury training already shows us his intent, he wants to obliterate AJ and show the country and the world that no one comes close to him on the UK shores before switching his attentions to an undisputed clash with Usyk to really cement his place as an iconic fighter.
