Tom Brady will need to use every bit of his experience this week as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the New Orleans Saints, says former teammate Rob Ninkovich.

You don’t need me to tell you just how accomplished Tom Brady is when it comes to his time in the game. Any stat that you want to examine, there’s a fair chance that you’re going to be blown away by it, whether it be touchdowns, yards, awards won or games won, there isn’t anything he hasn’t done.

Although, that last point isn’t strictly true when you get down to some of the finer details in his career, and it is very important to look at it given who they are going to be taking on this week.

Whilst a lot has stayed the same when he made the move from the New England Patriots to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, most notably winning a lot of games and showing us all why he is the greatest player to ever play the game, there is one thing that he still hasn’t managed to do, and that’s beat the New Orleans Saints in the regular season.

Tom Brady broken by the Bayou Boys

Brady’s record against the Saints during his days in New England was pretty impressive, going 4-1 during his time there, but now that they are in the same division and have to play each other twice a year, that record has slumped to 4-5 putting them in very exclusive company as they, along with the Seattle Seahawks are the only teams that can post a winning record against him in the regular season.

This weekend looks as if it could be a case of deja vu, as Brady could well be going into the game missing a number of crucial pieces on offense as they have been dealing with some very bad luck when it comes to injuries this week, this is to go on top of the injuries that they picked up in preseason.

So you might understandably be a bit wary for the Buccaneers as they get ready to face the Saints in New Orleans this week, but Brady’s former Patriots teammate Rob Ninkovich doesn’t think there’s anything to be concerned about.

Tom Brady will still be Tom Brady

Speaking on ESPN’s Get Up, Ninkovich claimed that Brady will know exactly what to do to get himself out of trouble despite all of the concerns and injury doubts that the Buccaneers might have when it comes to the pieces that are around him.

The logic does sound great, but if the Bucs are as banged up as they are right now and some crucial players can’t come back, then you have to wonder if there will be anybody around that Brady can trust to get him out of the situation.

He may be the G.O.A.T, but even he has some limitations.
