The German midfielder made his debut for Bayern Munich in 1008.

He has been an ever-present ever since, scoring 228 times in 636 games. He has helped them win 31 trophies.

Now 33, he is still going strong with the Bavarian giants.

A fan recently ran onto the pitch at the Allianz Arena to meet Sadio Mane.

"Mane! Mane! Mane! Mane!" the fan screams, before hugging Bayern's marquee summer signing.

Muller then volunteers to take a picture and takes the phone from the fan.

The 33-year-old proceeded to point the camera at himself and smile wryly at the camera.

The video then comes to an end. We'll never know if the fan ever got that picture with Mane.

Muller remains one of Bayern's most important players and German legend Jurgen Klinsmann has recently sung his praises.

"Thomas Muller is a very, very special player," Klinsmann said, per Sky Sports.

"He grew over the years into the icon at Bayern alongside Manuel Neuer. Now you have a younger one, Joshua Kimmich, who is the leader of the group as well. But Thomas is just such a personality and such a positive influence on the chemistry of the team.

"That is his role. He has just always been very, very big. No matter if he maybe scores more goals or does more assists. This leadership role that he has developed with Bayern Munich it is just a wonderful story. Throughout his entire career, it is a wonderful story."
