Kylian Mbappe really does have the world at his feet.

The PSG superstar, who is just 23-years-old, has quickly established himself as one of the biggest names in football and his stock is only set to rise.

Real Madrid came close to securing his services during a protracted transfer tangle with the Parisian giants, but Mbappe decided to stay put, putting pen to paper on a monster new contract in the French capital.

The news did not go down well in Madrid, with the Champions League winners almost certain they had done more than enough to sign the striker.

However, with PSG's offer making Mbappe one of the highest-paid players in the world, it was always going to be difficult to turn down.

But where exactly does Mbappe rank in the pantheon of the planet's highest earner?

Well, thanks to Bleacher Report, we can answer that very question.

Salah has leveraged his position as the most marketable figure in Egypt incredibly well. His massive endorsement deals dwarf some of the other stars on this list.

4. Neymar. Salary: $56 million. Endorsements: $35 million

Incredible numbers. Not only does Neymar plunder cash thanks to his immense portfolio of endorsement deals that span the globe, his base salary at PSG is also pretty handy.

3. Lionel Messi. Salary: $62 million. Endorsements: $48 million

Long story short, it pays to be possibly the greatest footballer to have ever lived.

2. Cristiano Ronaldo. Salary: $53 million. Endorsements: $60 million

The undisputed king of the endorsement deal in football.

As one of the most recognisable faces on planet earth, Ronaldo has made the business of making mountains of cash off the pitch look far too easy.

  1. Kylian Mbappe. Salary: $105 million. Endorsements: $20 million

Mbappe may not be able to compete with the likes of Ronaldo and Messi in the endorsement game just yet, but his stratospheric salary will be more than enough to soften the blow.
