Tottenham and Leicester fought out an epic Premier League encounter on Saturday afternoon.

It was goals galore at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as both clubs battled to take home the three points.

Leicester have been struggling for form this season but jumped into an early lead courtesy of a Youri Tielemans penalty in the sixth minute of play.

An early goal seemed to be exactly what the Foxes needed as they bid to secure their first Premier League victory of the season and move off the bottom of the table.

However, their optimism was short lived with Harry Kane firing back for Spurs just two minutes later.

What followed was a marvellous back-and-forth match with neither team rolling over.

Eric Dier looked to have given the home team the advantage going into the half-time break, only for James Maddison to respond with a beauty of a finish before the half was out.

It was a valiant effort from Leicester, but ultimately, wasn't to be enough as Spurs put the burners on after coming out for the second half.

Rodrigo Bentancur grabbed his first goal for the club in the 47th minute.

Before Heung-min Son, who initially found himself on the bench after some questionable form in recent weeks, stole the show with a truly incredible hat-trick.

The first came in the 72nd minute. The South Korean received the ball around 40-yards out from the opposition net and ran at the Leicester defence, backing them up the edge of their own box.

He then let loose an absolutely vicious thunderbolt from the edge of the box that flew straight into the top corner.

The second - and arguably even better goal - came from practically exactly the same position as the first.

Kane found his favourite strike partner in space on the edge of the area, and Son did the rest, knocking the ball out of his feet and whipping it straight into the top bin with his left foot.

And then he only had to go and round it off with the hat-trick, didn't he?

Charging into the area in the 85th minute with no Leicester defenders close to him, Son coolly slotted under Danny Ward to round off 13-minutes of magic.

The third goal:

What a performance from Son - it's fair to say that's exactly the response Conte would have wanted after benching him for today.

What a player. What a performance. What a game.
