Hull fell to 20th place in the Championship table with a 3-0 defeat to Swansea on Saturday - and if they keep defending as they did against the Welsh side, they'll soon find themselves deep in a relegation scrap.
Having done well to emerge unscathed from the first hour of the contest - during which Swansea hit the woodwork on three occasions - Hull's defence completely fell apart in the final 30 minutes of the match.
The Tigers' luck finally ran out when Ryan Manning gave the hosts the lead on 61 minutes. Swansea would double their advantage three minutes later after some of the most calamitous defending ever seen in the Championship.
The comedy of errors began when Swansea's Jay Fulton lost his footing just inside the penalty area while bearing down on goal.
The ball broke loose after Fulton hit the deck, something that should have allowed the visitors to make a regulation clearance.
Instead, Hull centre-back Tobias Figueiredo and goalkeeper Nathan Baxter combined for a howler of the highest order.
Figueiredo looked set to boot the loose ball into touch before suddenly hesitating, apparently believing that his keeper had the situation under control.
Except he didn't... at all! Baxter appeared to have absolutely no idea what his defender was doing and so made the decision to try and leap onto the ball.
In diving forward, though, the goalkeeper made contact with Figueiredo.

Seemingly under the impression that he had been caught by a Swansea player, the defender tried to win a free-kick by falling to the ground in comical fashion.
The spectacular lack of communication between goalkeeper and defender allowed Swansea's Luke Cundle to pounce and stroke the ball into an empty net.
It was the first senior goal of the 20-year-old's career - and the Wolves loanee may never score an easier one!
As painful as the passage of play with be for Hull fans to relive, thousands of others have enjoyed a laugh over their truly awful defending after the clip went viral following the game.

As if Figueiredo's day couldn't get any worse, he rounded off his total 'disasterclass' with another error five minutes from the end.
This time, an aimless ball forward from the Portuguese defender was snapped up by Swansea's Joel Piroe who went on to grab a third for the hosts.
