Son Heung-min came up with the perfect response to being left out of the starting XI by Tottenham boss Antonio Conte for the visit of Leicester on Saturday evening, blasting a 13-minute hat-trick from the bench.
The 30-year-old was introduced to the action just before the hour mark with Spurs holding a slender 3-2 advantage.
Son had failed to score in his six previous Premier League outings this season but opened his account for the campaign in fine style, curing a delightful right-footed shot into the top corner from the edge of the box.
Just nine minutes later, he found the net again with an even more impressive strike - this time with his left peg.
That goal essentially guaranteed all three points for the home side. However, Son wasn't done.
He capped off a sensational individual performance by securing the match ball with his third goal of the evening three minutes later to make it 6-2- although a VAR check for offside did threaten to spoil the party temporarily.

Blistering stuff from Son! That said, his treble was far from record-setting.

In fact, his hat-trick against the Foxes doesn't even make it into the top 10 fastest in Premier League history.
Assuming Son fancies bagging himself a top 10 spot in the future, we've taken a look below at the times he'll need to beat.
To clarify, these reflect the time between when the first goal and the third goal being scored in each instance; i.e. not from kick-off until the third goal.
Here is the 10-man list in full, taken as per Pundit Feed.

Records are made to be broken. However, it's going to take an almighty effort for anyone to overhaul Mane's incredible 176-second hat-trick for Southampton against Villa.
You can check out footage of the Senegalese superstar making history below but, to put it into context, Mane notched his hat-trick almost five times as quickly as Son managed to bring up his treble against Leicester.
Absolutely outrageous stuff!
