Kyler Murray’s run for his two-point conversion for the Arizona Cardinals against the Las Vegas Raiders has got fans buzzing on social media.

Week 2 of the NFL was one that saw a number of rather impressive comebacks, whether it be the New York Jets beating the Cleveland Browns despite trailing by 13 points with 2 minutes left, or the Miami Dolphins somehow coming back from 35-14 down to beat the Baltimore Ravens or the Arizona Cardinals trailing 23-7 in the 4th quarter before coming back to win in overtime over the Las Vegas Raiders.

For this, as you might have guessed given the title, we are going to be focusing on the last one of those, as the Cardinals got their first win of the season and dropped the Raiders to 0-2 (something that given how stacked the AFC West is might prove to be an insurmountable deficit in the win column come the end of the season).

The game was full of tremendous plays, including the one that sealed it as Byron Murphy had a fumble recovery in overtime to seal what looked at one point like a very unlikely win.

But none of that would have been possible without the play of Kyler Murray, who showed the world exactly why the Cardinals gave him a new contract this past summer with an incredible play in the 4th quarter to convert a two-point conversion that could easily have broken down on multiple occasions.

More Kyler Murray Magic

You don’t need me to tell you just how good of a dual-threat quarterback Murray is, the eye test does that for you, but his production really stands out when you look at the hard numbers. Coming into the season he had thrown for 11,480 passing yards and 70 touchdowns whilst also rushing for 1,786 yards, but it’s the 20 touchdowns on the ground that are perhaps the biggest indicator that you have to respect his play in the run game.

And that was on full display at Allegiant Stadium as he pulled off this remarkable run that included a number of changes of direction and stops and starts before ultimately crossing into the endzone to score.

And it was that play that left a number of fans on the internet absolutely stunned when they saw it posted on social media:

There are some moments where you just have to sit back and enjoy what you’re seeing, afterall how are you meant to prepare for something like that and hope to contain it? You just have to sit back and pray for the most part and hope to contain it, but when he’s on like that, it just seems pointless even trying.
