Asuka proved she is a true friend to Alexa Bliss on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw and fans were absolutely loving it.
The two WWE Superstars have formed an alliance with Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair and last night they were challenged by Damage CTRL.
Bliss met with Bayley inside the ring for the first time in more than two years but outside distractions played a huge part in the match.
What did Asuka do?
While Bliss was tussling with The Role Model in their singles match, each wrestler's respective allies were closely watching ringside.
Of course, it wasn't long before the rest of Damage CTRL started to interfere with the match and eventually found themselves turning on Asuka and Belair outside the ring.
The Empress of Tomorrow was handed the job of watching over Bliss' demonic doll Lilly and she certainly did the ultimate job of protecting her.
While she was fighting off Dakota Kai and IYO SKY, Asuka kept a firm grasp on Lilly.
Even when she took an impact against the steel steps and was attacked by all three members of Damage CTRL inside the ring, The Empress had Bliss' sidekick in her hand.
What has the WWE Universe said?
Fans have responded to the WWE Raw scenes, with many applauding Asuka's commitment to the role of Lilly's babysitter and others laughing at the comical side of the match.
"Asuka holding Lilly is so wholesome," one supporter wrote on Twitter.
"Asuka really protected (well — tried her best) Lilly with everything she had," said another.
A third added: "Asuka getting her a** kicked and still holding Lilly, she’s the best babysitter."
Asuka even kept hold of Lilly when she took a moonsault from SKY, which one fan has pointed out could have been a saving grace for The Empress.
"So @WWEAsuka protected Lilly for @AlexaBliss_WWE tonight. Then Lilly protected the Empress of Tomorrow from Iyo Sky's moonsault with the Tag Title on her waist. Have a friend like Asuka at your side," they wrote.
Bliss was eventually pinned by Bayley, who hit her with the Roseplant before securing the pin.

What's next for Bayley?
The Role Model ended the night by deploying yet another Roseplant, this time to the Raw Women’s Champion before challenging her to a title match at Extreme Rules next month.
Before Bayley was forced out of action through injury last year, she was locked in a fierce feud with Belair on Friday Night SmackDown.
Now she has returned, the rivalry has reignited and promises to make for great viewing, should a title match on October’s pay-per-view go ahead.
