Sidemen announce Chase and Status at Sidemen Charity Event

The 2022 Sidemen Charity Match will be the biggest yet and the YouTube group has announced that huge Drum n Bass duo Chase and Status are performing before kick-off.

This event will be a football match which will feature influencers from across the globe, all of which will also have a huge following.

The famous YouTube group, which features many stars including KSI, haven’t run this event since 2018. When they announced the big football match, fans across the globe were over the moon.

The Sidemen have promised that this will be their biggest event to date, and this looks to be true as they announce a Chase and Status performance.

Chase and Status Performing at Sidemen Football Charity Match

As we get closer to the Sidemen event, more and more news is surfacing. So far a lot of this news has been around announcing who is playing on the day. We have seen iShowSpeed, Pieface, Calfreezy and many more announced.

Now, it looks like those attending or watching the match will be treated to a pre-match show. Details around this show have not been fully revealed, but thanks to the Sidemen Twitter account, we now know that Chase & Status are the opening act for the 2022 charity match.


Who are Chase and Status?

For those who do not know, Chase and Status are an English electronic music duo. Saul Milton and Will Kennard are the two musicians in the group and they were formed all the way back in 2003. MC Rage used to be a part of the group but is now focusing on solo opportunities.

They have had three number one tracks and continue to pull in huge crowds across the globe whilst also being asked to perform at huge festivals.

Being able to attract a music group of this calibre to perform at the Charity Event is a huge coup for the Sidemen and it will be exciting to see what tracks Chase and Status perform on the day.

The Sidemen vs YouTube All Stars Charity Match is not far away at all as it is on Saturday 24th September 2022 and it will be played at the home of League One side Charlton Athletic.
