Francis Ngannou ‘confronted’ Jake Paul in hilarious fashion recently after The Problem Child’s comments on the UFC champion.

Both are big names in their own right, with Ngannou and Paul at the top of their field whether that be professional fighting or exhibition fighting and content creation.

However, with Paul heavily involved in the boxing scene, the two being at the same event together is no surprise.

Francis Ngannou ‘confronts’ Jake Paul

The Problem Child was being interviewed at some sort of event four months ago, with UFC’s champion Ngannou present at the event also.

He begins an interview with XcellentMMA Clips, before Ngannou appears just as Paul was answering a question about him.

Afterwards, Paul backtracks on his comments at the arrival of Ngannou, exchanging pleasantries with one another before the clip ends.

What Francis Ngannou and Jake Paul said

Paul was asked by the reporter: “Who do you think you could take in a fight? You know, any celebrity?”

So Paul being Paul jokingly replied: “I mean, I’ve been having my eye on Francis Ngannou. I think that will be a pretty easy matchup.”

The camera continues as Ngannou appears, confronting The Problem Child in hilarious fashion, putting his hand on Paul’s shoulder, who replies with: “Hey buddy, we were just talking about, he asked me like, who do I love?”

The UFC champions replied: “He said who would you fight…”

Paul backtracked with: “No he was saying, who do I love.”

Ngannou then asked: “So you don’t want to fight me?”

Unsurprisingly, Paul retorted: “No, Francis, come on Buddy!”

Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva

Paul obviously isn’t going to be taking on Ngannou anytime soon, with The Problem Child taking on a different UFC legend, Anderson Silva next month in Arizona in a boxing bout. It will be his first foray into the ring since his bout with Hasim Rahman Jr was cancelled.

Everything you need to know about the fight from date, venue, card and how to stream can be found here, with GiveMeSport having all the latest and breaking news around the bout.

On the other hand, Ngannou has been absent from the Octagon since earlier in the year as he recovers from a knee injury which saw him require surgery after a victory over Ciryl Gane.

Although the fight seems unlikely, never say never in the future as the ‘BoxTuber’ series goes from strength to strength, who knows what the future holds?
