Alexandre Lacazette floored Sergio Ramos with a piece of skill during Sunday’s Ligue 1 clash between Lyon and Paris Saint-Germain - and one commentator’s reaction was gold. The two sides went head-to-head at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais and it was PSG who secured all three points thanks to Lionel Messi’s fifth-minute strike.Lacazette threatened to level the scores later in the half after a brilliant dribble that left Ramos, one of the greatest defenders of recent times, on his backside.Ramos wasn’t anticipating that Lacazette was about to feint, Lionel Messi style, rather than shoot from 25 yards. The Spanish centre-back stumbled as the French forward ghosted past him.Lacazette then left another PSG player on the deck before testing goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma with a shot from just inside the penalty area.

Can Lacazette force his way into France's World Cup squad?

Lacazette, who made headlines earlier this month after losing his voice during a post-match interview, has scored four goals in eight appearances for Lyon since joining the French club in the summer.

He returned for the Ligue 1 side for a second spell after his contract at Arsenal expired.

In total, Lacazette netted 71 goals in 206 games for the Gunners between 2017-2022, winning the FA Cup and Community Shield in the process.
