Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4: Brie Larson character revealed

Fortnite destiny 2 collaboration

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 is finally upon us, and we’ve got a good look at Brie Larson’s character!

There had been plenty of hints as to what Season 4 would entail when it finally released after months of hype.

The game’s new season is titled Paradise, but the island looks like it is anything but with the latest updates!

There has been an invasion of what can only be described as chrome goo, and it has a number of uses within the game.

You can cover yourself in the goo and be a blob, adding to your speed, or you can cover walls with it and morph through them.

In addition to the chrome goo, we’ve also seen Brie Larson added to the game as a fresh character.

Larson, of course, is perhaps best known for playing Captain Marvel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, appearing in the movie named after her character, as well as Avengers Endgame and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

She has also won an Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in Room, the 2016 drama.

And now she finds herself immortalised in Fortnite.

The famed actress has been voicing Paradigm previously; the character is one of the game’s Seven, the heroes at the centre of the Fortnite universe.

While she has been voicing audio logs too, we’ve now got a look at her without a helmet on.

She does look slightly reminiscent of her Captain Marvel attire, although this is a much more mech-inspired look, which fits with the aesthetic of this season.

The new battle pass for the season also includes Spider-Gwen, as inspired by the Into The Spiderverse animated film.

There have been plenty of crossovers throughout the lifespan of Fortnite but it appears that Epic Games are focusing on utilising the massive pulling power of comic book movies and culture to bring more and more players into the world of Fortnite.

What do you think about this latest crossover, featuring the woman behind Captain Marvel?
