Shakur Stevenson will make the first defence of his unified WBC and WBO super featherweight titles against Robson Conceicao in New Jersey on September 23.
It will be the American ace's first fight since his impressive win over Oscar Valdez in April.
Stevenson, 25, is eager to show he is a step above the rest against a proven opponent who won gold at the 2016 Olympics.
Brazilian challenger Conceicao is based in Los Angeles and has won all but one of his 18 career fights.

He's eight years older than Stevenson and will be looking to produce an upset later this week.
A native of Newark, Stevenson has long been heralded as the second coming of Floyd Mayweather at 130.
Should the American get the better of Nino, he'll surely move one step closer to his goal of becoming one of the best super-featherweights to ever do it.

Julio Cesar Chavez is without a doubt one of Mexico's most famous superstars outside of the ring.
In the ring, he was a three-weight world champion, a two-time WBC super-lightweight champion, a two-time unified lightweight champion and a Boxing Hall of Fame member.
8. Brian Mitchell
Wins: 45 (21 KOs), Losses: 1, Draws: 3
1981-1995 (South Africa)
Like Chacon, Brian Mitchell's name may not be the most memorable, but he is equally deserving of his name on this list.
Mitchell was a three-time super-featherweight world champion, a WBA and IBF super-featherweight champion throughout his career.
7. Genaro Hernandez

A former lightweight title challenger, a two-time super-featherweight and lineal super-featherweight champion, Genaro Hernandez arguably doesn't get the respect that he deserves.
Indeed were it not for a certain Mayweather he probably would have been higher up on the list.

6. Manny Pacquaio

The first of two Filipinos on this list but arguably the most famous of them all, Manny Pacquiao made super-featherweight his home for three years before moving up to lightweight.
Pac Man graced the ring with fellow legends such as Erik Morales, Marco Antonio Barrera and Juan Manuel Marquez.
5. Azumah Nelson
Wins: 38 (27 KOs), Losses: 6, Draws: 2
1979-2008 (Ghana)
Nelson claimed the WBC 130lb belt with a split decision nod over Mario Martinez in 1998.
He went on to defend the title a further ten times, beating the likes of Jeff Fenech, Juan Laporte and Jim McDonnell along the way.
4. Gabriel Elorde

1951-1971 (Phillipines)
'Flash' Elorde, or to give him his real name Gabriel Elorde, was a Filipino professional boxer who competed from 1951 to 1971.
But don't judge him by his record - he claimed the world title against Harold Gomes back in 1960 and defended it a whopping ten times.
