Roman Reigns is the top star in WWE right now, and AEW's MJF seems to be a big fan.

Speaking to Ariel Helwani in a recent interview, MJF revealed that he's a huge supporter of the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

Reigns was recently voted as 2022's number one wrestler by Pro Wrestling Illustrated and MJF that it's the right call.

MJF's honest thoughts on Roman Reigns

During his interview with Ariel Helwani on MMA Hour, MJF gave his honest thoughts on WWE Superstar Roman Reigns.

Helwani asked MJF for his thoughts on the PWI500, which was released last week, following Reigns' ranking as number one.

MJF said he had no issues with Reigns' placement, calling the 37-year-old a "total stud", as you can see below.

As you can see from the video in the embedded tweet above, MJF even said The Bloodline's signature "we the ones" catchphrase in rather hilarious fashion.

Roman has yet to respond to MJF, but it's interesting to note that the 26-year-old clearly watches the content that WWE puts out.

MJF's thoughts on Vince McMahon

MJF was also asked about his feeling towards Vince McMahon, WWE's former CEO, following his retirement in July.

While acknowledging the controversial circumstances in which he retired, MJF said he thought Vince was "tremendously talented", noting that the 77-year-old leaves behind a "gigantic legacy", via SKWrestling.

That's a tough one. So he's left a gigantic legacy in the history of the business and there's a lot of stuff that came out. We don't know what's real, we don't know what's fake, I think it's all under investigation. All I can say is, I grew up watching the guy, I thought he was tremendously talented.

Is MJF joining WWE?

Before he returned to AEW in September, there was intense speculation suggesting that MJF was going to leave and join WWE.

Part of MJF's character in AEW is that he's going to create a bidding war with WWE when his contract expires in January 2024.

However, it seems like that's more than just a storyline, as all signs point towards MJF's intention to run down his contract and start a bidding way being totally legitimate.

Also during his interview with Helwani, which you can watch by clicking here, MJF revealed that he signed a new deal before returning to AEW.

However, in what will peak the interest of WWE, MJF explained that his deal is just for increased pay and IS NOT for more time, meaning it will still expire on January 1, 2024.

The talented wrestler stressed that he will leave AEW in 2024 if another company offers him more money, which WWE could well do if they really want to secure his signature.
