Tyson Fury is gearing up for a classic British showdown with Anthony Joshua at the end of the year and is already putting the training in place to ensure he is the best heavyweight Britain has to offer come the end of the bout.

After numerous retirement U-turns, Fury is taking on this fight before hopefully taking on Oleksandr Usyk in an undisputed heavyweight clash, seeing a crowning moment in the division for the first time in 20 years.

Obviously, Fury will have to win his fight in December to keep the chances of that alive as AJ has his eyes on that WBC belt The Gypsy King currently controls.

Tyson Fury’s 6am runs

The Gypsy King has been spotted doing his usual running routines first thing in the morning, early bird catches the worm and all that!

One young fan knows that he has been doing this and camped out to meet him on said run and go and join him for a little bit, something which Presley Pennington has done, a 14-year-old super fan. His parents drove him 50 miles to Morecambe, ensuring he was there at the crack of dawn.

He bumped into Fury the next day as planned, with Fury urging him to run faster and keep up with the heavyweight!

As always, Fury was oozing class, meeting him the day prior to his run and gifted him a signed hat when they bumped into each other in the local supermarket. Presley admitted that he read Fury’s book after suffering with his own mental health issues.

Tyson Fury superfan commented on the experience

Presley said: “I got up and ready for 6am, and we saw him on the run, and he remembered me. I only ran a little way with him, but the adrenaline kept me going! They say don’t meet your heroes but he has such a good personality.

“I have two books on him and the reason he inspires me is that he was struggling, he had bad mental health problems and wanted to crash into a wall. Then he thought of his kids, started training and became the heavyweight champion of the world.

“I admire that he turned his life around so quickly. I saw on Instagram that he runs down the seafront in Morecambe most days for his well-being. I said to my grandma, ‘I want to meet Tyson.' We have a caravan in Morecambe, so we decided to try and make it happen!

“The weird thing is the day before, when we got to Morecambe, I saw Tyson in his car near Sainsbury’s out the blue and he shook my hand. I got a picture and he gave me a hat which he signed.”
