It’s been a difficult start for The Egyptian King at Anfield this season, only scoring twice in the opening six games, with The Reds in a disappointing 8th place as things stand.
Mohamed Salah Egypt duty
Whilst on international duty over the last 12 months, it’s been incredibly tough for Salah and his compatriots, missing out on the African Cup of Nations to a Senegal side on penalties in heartbreaking fashion.
Despite a clearly gut wrenching year for the Egyptians, Salah was still in high spirits whilst on international duty, deciding to make a wedding extra special for one lucky couple.
Mohamed Salah gatecrashes wedding photos
A video has gone viral on social media of Salah running up to a couple on their wedding day, gatecrashing their photos to give them a moment that will make their special day just that little bit more exceptional.
The Egyptian King was out on a run as part of his training regime whilst away, where he was snapped with the happy couple before continuing on his merry way in preparation for tonight’s fixture.
When running away, Salah makes a retort in Arabic, which allegedly means ‘don’t post the photo now okay’ which shows us his sense of humour.
He’s clearly in very high spirits on international duty and will be hoping to get back to his regular goalscoring ways in front of The Kop.

It’s certainly a moment the couple will always remember and is a story to tell the grandchildren that’s for sure! Thankfully for them, the moment has been caught on video too to refer back to.
Salah is an absolute class act, that moment was nothing for him, just a few seconds out of his way but it gives someone a moment that will struggle to be topped.
Weddings are special days anyway, with Salah able to give something to a couple that many would love to happen, a chance encounter with Egyptian royalty.
