Triple H has ended the push of WWE Superstar Veer Mahaan by seemingly moving him back down to NXT.

One of Vince McMahon's last projects before his retirement was Veer Mahaan, with the ex-CEO trying hard to get the 34-year-old over as a top star.

It didn't quite work under Vince, and now that Triple H is in charge, it seems like 'The Game' isn't as keen on the Indian Superstar.

Triple H's plans for Veer Mahaan in WWE

Veer became somewhat of a sensation during his push on Raw, but perhaps not for the reasons that WWE would have hoped.

WWE aired 'Veer is coming' vignettes on Raw for several weeks prior to his debut, with the video packages airing from November 2021 to April 2022.

Things did look quite good for Veer on the main roster, as the 6ft 2" star didn't actually lose a singles match after his debut.

However, things are changing for Veer, as Triple H has only had him wrestle once on Raw since becoming Head of Creative in July.

Veer WWE Raw

Veer was on WWE Raw for quite some time

We were provided an update on Veer's immediate future last night, and the news may come as a surprise to WWE fans.

Photos of Veer at an NXT Live Event started doing the rounds on social media last night, as you can see below, suggesting he's been moved back to the developmental brand, via WrestleTalk.

Not just that, but Triple H has placed Veer back with Sanga, his former Indus-Sher tag team partner, suggesting that 'The Game' wants to book the pair as a tag act together again.

Why was Veer moved back to NXT?

The reasons why Triple H moved Veer back to NXT aren't quite clear at this time, but you'd have to assume that the new Head of Creative thought he needed more time to develop.

It's also unclear whether or not Veer will just be working house shows as part of the NXT roster, or whether he's officially been moved back to Shawn Michaels' brand.

Regardless, it seems like the push that Vince McMahon planned out for Veer on the main roster is now essentially over, again proving that not everyone within WWE is benefitting from Triple H coming to power.

It wasn't just Vince that had high hopes for Veer, as former WWE Superstar Virgil dubbed the former Raw Superstar as 'the next Brock Lesnar' towards the beginning of his push on the main roster, via WrestlingInc.
