Tyson Fury says Joe Joyce would prove too much for Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk - but he wouldn't be able to lay a glove on him if the pair met inside the ring.

Joyce, 37, beat Joseph Parker in Manchester on Saturday to win the WBO interim heavyweight title and set up a unification bout against unbeaten Ukrainian Usyk.

It was pretty much one-way traffic from the off as 'The Juggernaut' stunned the former WBO champ - even opening up a nasty cut above his right eye at one point.

Joyce peppered the New Zealander all night long with a constant probing jab and his killer instincts set up a left hook that left the 29-year-old slumped on the canvas in the 11th round.

And his promoter Frank Warren has warned Usyk he is 'a big man' now and it would be a completely different story to when they first fought in the amateur ranks.

Tyson Fury backs Joe Joyce to beat Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk

Tyson Fury has backed Joe Joyce to beat Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk

Warren told BT Sport: "Tyson said Joyce would beat everyone except me.

"I'd like to get the Usyk fight on. They've got history from the amateurs. I also think Joe — he's a big man now — he's matured more and will give Usyk a lot of problems. Usyk's a smart fighter but Joe's resilience and his jab… I think he'd give him a lot of problems.

"But it won't happen, because Usyk isn't going to fight until next February or March, and that will be Tyson.

"I don't know who Joyce will fight next yet. We'll work on that. If Daniel Dubois gets another few wins, that's another fight down the road."

What has Tyson Fury said about Joe Joyce?

Joyce's rival Fury watched on from ringside as he showed his support for his close friend and training partner Parker.

And while he tipped Joyce to beat Joshua and Usyk, he believes he would be too quick and elusive for him.

“Joe Joyce is a force to be reckoned with," he told BT Sport per The Evening Standard. “Anyone who takes him lightly will be in for a rude awakening.

"I think he would walk though AJ and he’s too big for Usyk. Never in a million years [could he beat me].”

“He wouldn’t land one punch on me in 12 rounds. I don’t think he could hit me if he had a f*****g handful of rice.

“He’s a big man, but I’m bigger. He’s heavy, but I’m heavier. That’s it.

"He’s a good fighter, but it is what it is. I’m the best in the world for a reason.”
