EA Sports has begun uploading new Squad Building Challenges to FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, including one that could see you unlock a special Ones To Watch version of Angel Di Maria.

The Argentina international completed a free transfer to Juventus this summer and EA has chosen to commemorate that with a new card.

Di Maria has a base rating of 84 and, while that hasn’t been improved for the special card, it can receive upgrades down the line if he receives In-Form cards.

That makes his card one of the more desirable ones in the game, particularly if you’re planning on having a squad packed with Serie A talent or Argentina internationals.

We’ve taken a look at the requirements needed to unlock Di Maria, so you can get the right winger unlocked and add him to your squad!

Di Maria really isn’t a hugely expensive player to unlock.

The former Real Madrid and Manchester United star isn’t going to set you back a huge amount, provided you’ve got a few players in your club already.

If you do need to buy every player, the cost is as follows.

  • PlayStation, Xbox price: 29.3k
  • PC: 33.1k

There is a great deal of potential in Di Maria’s card, especially if you complete him early and allow him the chance to keep upgrading.

He’s a regular for Juve and they are historically one of the most successful clubs in Italy, so one would expect them to win most games they play domestically.

If they do manage to do that, Di Maria’s rating can only climb.

We’d recommend getting this one completed if you’re planning on utilising any Serie A players in your squad.
