FIFA 23’s Ultimate Edition has been released, coming out on September 27th, and the Standard Edition is set to release on the 30th.

Players have been diving into the game’s wide suite of modes, including Career Mode and Ultimate Team.

Of course, one of the headline-grabbing parts of the new entry into the franchise is the inclusion of AFC Richmond and Ted Lasso.

The fictional club from Apple TV’s smash-hit series, which has won 11 Emmys, is faithfully recreated in the game, including the likes of Roy Kent, Jamie Tartt, and even Coach Beard.

Selhurst Park, Crystal Palace’s stadium, has also been slightly edited, as it is in the TV show, to more reliably look like Nelson Road, the Greyhounds’ Stadium.

Now, players are wondering whether or not AFC Richmond will be included in Ultimate Team and we’ve got you covered; all of the information you need is below.

Are AFC Richmond in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team?

Not exactly, but there are cosmetic items available.

You can’t use any of the players, so Roy Kent can’t snap legs in midfield for you.

But there are cosmetic items available.

Ted Lasso does have a manager card in Ultimate Team, as does Coach Beard, while you can use a Richmond kit, a TIFO and a badge. They are likely to be available through objectives and challenges.

We’ll keep you updated whenever there’s any new information about AFC Richmond in FIFA 23, or when these SBCs come into the game.

You can use AFC Richmond in Kick-Off, Online Friendlies, and Online Seasons, as well as Career Mode. You can also add Ted to your club in Career, making him the manager of a real club if you so wish.

It’s a great addition to FIFA 23 and we can’t wait to start banging them in with Tartt and making crunching tackles with Kent.

Will you be playing as Richmond in the new game?
