Charlotte Flair has lived up to her famous family name and become one of the biggest superstars in modern-day WWE since debuting in 2013.

Charlotte has won everything there is to win in WWE, with a record tally of Women's titles, a Royal Rumble win in 2020 and a WrestleMania main event the year prior.

She played volleyball in high school

The real-life Ashley Fliehr won two A-state championships while at Providence High School in Charlotte, North Carolina.

She appeared on WCW in 2000

Charlotte made her first pro wrestling appearance at the age of 14 under her real name son WCW during Ric’s feud with her half-brother David and Vince Russo ( WCW 2000 things). She helped her father defeat David by handcuffing Russo with the help of her other brother Reid. Normal.

She was a personal trainer prior to starting her wrestling career

Flair has long been renowned for her unbelievable athleticism, with her figure-eight leg-lock and moonsaults a testament to this. It is not hugely surprising that she was a certified personal trainer before entering the wrestling industry.

She began training to be a wrestler at quite a late age

Perhaps as a result of her father being on the road so much, Charlotte was slow to enter the industry. She was 26 by the time she joined WWE’s developmental system. For context, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Bayley all began training as teenagers.

Her first televised singles match was against a familiar face

Charlotte (as she was known from day 1 in NXT) had her first televised singles match on the July 17th, 2013 edition of NXT, where she defeated Bayley. The two have since met hundreds of times, either as partners or opponents.

Alongside then-fellow NXT stars Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss, Charlotte acted as a maiden to Triple H and his King of Kings persona during his entrance for his match with Daniel Bryan.

In 2016, Flair and Banks competed in the first-ever women’s Hell in a Cell match at the titular event, which was also the first time women had ever main evented a WWE pay-per-view. The two also main evented the first all-women’s Raw main event since Lita and Trish Stratus 12 years prior.

She has held every female championship in WWE history

Charlotte is the most decorated women’s wrestler in WWE history with 15 World Titles to her name. This 15 consists of six Raw and Smackdown Women’s titles apiece, two NXT Women’s Championships, as well as the now-retired Divas Championship.

She also is tag champ with Asuka, making her the only women to win all of these titles in WWE history.

Her dream match

Charlotte, Becky, Bayley and Sasha became known as the “Four Horsewomen” in NXT, playing off her father’s iconic group. The four have helped revolutionise women’s wrestling, and a fatal 4-way at WrestleMania has long been anticipated. Charlotte has previously said this is her dream match.
