After defeating Petr Yan at UFC 280, O'Malley claimed that he should be competing for the UFC Bantamweight title against Aljamain Sterling or Henry Cejudo, depending on who wins their upcoming contest.

Speaking to ESPN, he said: "I'm the biggest fight [for Sterling or Cejudo] -- obviously. It doesn't take a genius to figure that out; anybody I fight is going to be the biggest fight in the division. I don't know what to tell him.

"It's a better win, beating the two-time world champ, two weight [classes], Olympic gold medalist. If you're just going off that, what win looks better? A win over Aljo or a win over Henry? For me, a win over Henry looks better."

Speaking to Helen Yee, O’Malley would react to the praise that he received from former Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov regarding his potential in the octagon:

“Like I said about the high-level fighters when they talk about me vs. Petr, I think high-level fighters see that I’m a legit motherf*****.

“I’m not just fancy and do this crazy s***. I have legitimate skills. So it was really cool. Hearing something like that from Khabib, he’s one of the GOATs, so it was really cool.”

This is easily the biggest challenge of Suga’s career thus far, so it will be interesting to see how he handles the pressure of such a big jump in competition!
