FIFA 23 has hit the shelves for all those Ultimate Edition owners, with the full release now only a matter of hours away for those waiting for the standard edition.

The chance to start our Ultimate Team’s again and start from scratch on your Pro Clubs journey with new graphics and features is always something to get excited for.

One thing that you expect to see improvement on year on year, is the graphics, and EA Sports appear to have smashed it out of the park this year with the likeness to real life football.

FIFA 23 graphics

FIFA 23’s new and improved graphics are finally able to see with the full game now available to anyone who has bought the Ultimate Edition, getting their hands on the game earlier than the general release date.

This year, more than any other year, FIFA 23 will see people unfamiliar with gaming likely believe real football is on the TV like they have so many times previously.

Player scans have developed along with the gaming technology to see the likeness to the actual players becoming scarily realistic, with huge strides taken by the gaming giants to provide the most realistic edition of the game to date.

Ted Lasso and AFC Richmond on FIFA 23

Apple TV’s hit TV show, Ted Lasso, has seen the fictional team, AFC Richmond added into the game as a playable option offline, with the chance to use Ted himself or his assistant, Coach Beard as your manager on Ultimate Team.

With that we see the face scans of our favourite characters executed perfectly, whether that be the grizzly midfielder, Roy Kent, or lovable forward, ‘football is life’ Danny Rojas.

The fact EA have managed to add these actors into the game to look spot on as well, shows us just how far the game has come, with the graphics unbelievably good this time around.

Whilst gameplay and servers will be an issue for plenty of gamers, the offline gameplay with no internet connection has clearly gone from strength to strength, with the new consoles being able to hold so much more data and provide an even clearer image than before.
