Jurgen Klopp once again proved why he is one of the world’s most loved managers with his hilarious reaction to seeing Kostas Tsimikas’ new man bun.
The Liverpool boss isn’t having the best of times thus far in 2022/23.
His team, who were expected to once again challenge Man City for the Premier League title, are languishing in eighth place in the table.
They’ve claimed just two wins from their opening six matches and already find themselves nine points behind league leaders Arsenal.
It’s a far cry from what many Reds fans and Klopp himself would no doubt have expected, given the team was potentially on for a historic quadruple a matter of months ago.
However, that’s just the changing landscape of football. The game waits for nobody and Liverpool have certainly been caught sleeping.
Klopp has consequently faced plenty of criticism in the press off the back of his team’s performances.
And whilst that’s often enough to rattle the cage of any manager, none more so than extreme winners like Klopp, the German has managed to remain his usually brilliant self throughout much of this difficult time.
Klopp’s brilliant moment with Tsimikas
One moment that sums that up perfectly is evident in footage that is currently doing the rounds on Twitter.
In the video, Klopp sees Tsimikas’ new man bun for the first time and doesn’t hold back in giving his assessment of the star’s new haircut.
“How much do you want that I can cut it off?” Klopp asked.
The changing room erupted with laughter at Klopp’s savagery. And then the boss, very happy with himself for the joke, followed it up with another stormer.
“At first I thought Darwin had shrunk.”

Whatever you do Jurgen, never ever change.
It’s no wonder Klopp has such a close bond with his team because his leadership skills really are second to none.
He knows exactly how to straddle the line between friend, father figure and boss to maximise his players potential.
And this moment is another prime example of that.
