Jake Paul has been making waves in the boxing world for a few years now, whether you like it or not.

The former Disney star and social media personality is now an undefeated professional boxer, slated to fight iconic MMA star Anderson Silva in search of his sixth win on the trot.

Paul, 25, has recently provided his very own pound-for-pound list that has left a marmite impression on fighting fans with some interesting takes and noticeable omissions – and 13 fighters in a top 10 list.

Jake Paul's top 10 boxers in the world right now

1) Tyson Fury

2) Terence Crawford & Errol Spence

3) Artur Beterbiev & Dmitry Bivol

4) Oleksandr Usyk

5) Amanda Serrano & Katie Taylor

6) Shakur Stevenson

7) Devin Haney

8) Jermell Charlo

9) David Benavidez

10) Naoya Inoue

There are certainly some good elements to the list, but with 13 boxers in his top 10 P4P, some questions have been raised with regards to the credibility of the list.

No Canelo, Fury & Usyk make the top five

Whilst Tyson Fury sits atop his arguably righteous throne as number one, the absence of Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez has definitely raised a few eyebrows.

Closely behind Fury, American welterweights Errol Spence and Terence Crawford, who are in talks to unify the belts in a seismic bout this year, both sit in second place.

Third place is occupied by dual fighters once more, with light heavyweight title holders Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev taking the spot.

In fourth, arguably too low, sits unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, fresh from his second victory over former champion Anthony Joshua, who failed to make Paul’s list.

Jake Paul explains his P4P list

Paul explained the reasoning behind his decisions on his own podcast, saying: “First and foremost, Tyson Fury has just been so dominant in the heavyweight division for so long.

"He beats every heavyweight by KO/TKO, including Usyk, and there hasn't been a heavyweight in the history of the sport who hasn't fallen off eventually and Tyson Fury has remained on top, and I think he will retire on top.

"However, what Usyk has done from cruiserweight to heavyweight has been impressive and his dominance, versatility and boxing ability is second to none.

"Terence and Errol is obvious and it just needs to be settled. Artur Beterbiev is the only current champion who holds all KOs and that's not talked about enough.

"Bivol being in the same weight class means they need to settle who's better, however, Bivol knocks Canelo off the list not only after beating him at 175 but for being willing to go to 168.”

Paul closed his statement by expressing his incredulity at the absence of Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano from some P4P lists, who reside at joint fifth on his own.

Devin Haney, Jermell Charlo, David Benavidez and Naoya Inoue – who sits at 10th!? – make up the remainder of the list.
