Leeds United signing Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic is a "possibility", believes CBS reporter Ben Jacobs.

The 24-year-old was linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge during the summer, and talk about him departing has not gone away.

What is the latest news involving Pulisic?

According to Calciomercato, Juventus are interested in signing Pulisic and have already made contact with the player's agent.

However, should the American decide to leave Chelsea, the Old Lady are unlikely to be the only club in the equation to land him.

In August, The Telegraph claimed that Newcastle United were interested in Pulisic and made an enquiry about bringing him to St James' Park when the transfer window was still open.

Manchester United were also mentioned as a suitor for the former Borussia Dortmund man before they bought Antony.

What has Jacobs said about Pulisic and Leeds?

Jacobs has told GIVEMESPORT that there are whispers about Leeds being interested in Pulisic and does not think the USA international moving to Elland Road is completely out of the question.

Speaking to GMS, the CBS reporter said: "There is some talk that Leeds are interested in Pulisic and people will naturally make that link because of Jesse Marsch, so could Newcastle get [Jack] Harrison and then Leeds get Pulisic?

"All of that's a possibility, but I don't think the picture will be clearer for a number of these players, even the ones not involved in the World Cup, until the World Cup's out of the way."

How much of a coup would Pulisic be for Leeds?

He would be a massive one. This is a player who cost Chelsea £58m (via BBC Sport) after all.

Since arriving at Stamford Bridge, he has come up with some big goals, scoring in the west London club's Champions League semi-final tie against Real Madrid in 2021 before they went on to win Europe's elite competition.

Pulisic is also quite a versatile attacker, able to play on both flanks and just behind the striker. At 24, he has already accomplished a lot and has time to become an even better footballer.

Ultimately, if Leeds can get him, he would be an incredible addition to Marsch's squad. And given that American connection, plus Pulisic's desire to play more games, perhaps it is not impossible.

You would imagine that a European giant like Juventus, though, will be leading the race for the Chelsea star.
