Jake Paul has teased a big announcement that could see him make the jump over to mixed martial arts.

As of this writing, it’s not unheard of to suggest that Jake Paul is one of the biggest stars in combat sports.

The man known as ‘The Problem Child’ has already achieved so much since turning pro in boxing, accumulating a 5-0 record.

Of course, his success goes far beyond that, largely due to the social media following he possesses as well as the nature of the opponents he’s been facing.

Paul has never been shy to voice his opinion on what’s happening in the sport and he certainly isn’t afraid to challenge himself, something which has slowly but surely earned him more and more fans as the months and years have gone on.

Some think he’ll soon overstep the mark and wind up getting knocked out, which is a distinct possibility, but others genuinely can’t figure out what his ceiling is going to be.

If you aren’t sure which camp you fall into either, then perhaps his teasing of a run in MMA will clear things up.

“I’ve got an announcement coming soon,” Jake said. “I can just tease that, that I’m working with a big organization right now on a whole thing in MMA that also has to do with me fighting and we’re gonna have an announcement soon. I want to do it.

“Javier Mendez said he would train me. So I’ll go to AKA. I’ll probably need like a year, year and a half to get the kicks down. I already know jiu-jitsu.

“I wanna be able to do everything in there. At least checking kicks. I know how to wrestle already.”

What’s next for Paul?

We’ve all come to learn that underestimating Jake Paul has the potential to be a big mistake and on October 29, all eyes are going to be on Arizona to see whether or not the YouTuber-turned-boxer can claim his biggest victim yet - Anderson Silva.
