Bo Nickal has ripped into Darren Till after ‘The Gorilla’ called for a future fight against the Contender Series star.

While he may have only made three appearances since turning pro in mixed martial arts, Bo Nickal has done an incredible job of getting people talking.

After a debut win with iKON FC, two resounding submission successes on Dana White’s Contender Series have left him with a UFC contract and a spot on the main roster - which is pretty wild given that some fans wouldn’t have even heard of him until a few short months ago.

The 26-year-old knows better than anyone that he needs to capitalise on this momentum, and he’ll get a chance to do just that when he clashes with Jamie Pickett at UFC 282 later this year.

Prior to that, though, he’ll be subjected to a lot of analysis from some of his fellow fighters, which includes a potential middleweight rival in the form of Darren Till.

The Scouse sensation has fallen on hard times in the last couple of years but is determined to get back to winning ways and in a recent tweet, he praised Nickal while simultaneously indicating that he wants to fight him somewhere down the road.

In response, Bo issued quite a chilling warning to the former welterweight title challenger.

“Darren – very, very cute, I guess that’s my first impression. It’s a cute thing of you to say, having just gotten absolutely bodied by Derek Brunson, another wrestler, another grappler who is a tough dude.

“I don’t know why you would say something like that, knowing what I could do to you. So, hopefully we fight in the future and hopefully you’re ready, good luck.”

Go big or go home

One of the reasons why Till may have gone after Nickal is because the amateur wrestling star opted to call out Khamzat Chimaev, the close friend and training partner of Till, during his post-fight interview earlier this week.

It’s going to be a while before we even come close to seeing a collision like that but Nickal is clearly aiming high, which is precisely what you need to do in order to make waves at the elite level.

Till, meanwhile, will also have his hands full at UFC 282 when he squares off with fellow prospect Dricus du Plessis.
