Whether it’s irresistible Irish trash-talking or throwing punches at civilians, McGregor is never far from the media’s attention. The former UFC champion has once again sparked coverage as he has erupted in a furious rant directed towards UFC commentator and retired fighter Michael Bisping.

Conor McGregor vs Michael Bisping

In a recently deleted 40-second voice note posted on Twitter, McGregor, 34, can be heard venting some rage at Bisping.

In the video, McGregor immediately threatens Bisping in a way only he knows how.

"Do you want to go to war, man? I’ll go to war with you, you little sausage of a thing."

While McGregor’s insults usually stray far from the ordinary, calling your rival a ‘little sausage’ is weird even for him.

He proceeds: "Where do you stay when you’re in Vegas again pal?"

Not a question anyone would like to be asked by a dual-weight UFC champion.

By the end of the voice note, McGregor makes himself very clear, demanding: "Keep my name out your mouth, any kind of threatening behaviour and I’ll walk through your front door.

"Go back where you belong, you little clown, you little sprinter."

Why are McGregor & Bisping beefing?

It has been suggested that McGregor's initial outburst was a result of the pair’s endeavour into the acting world, with Bisping staring in the 2020 blockbuster ‘The Journeyman’ and more recently as a fighter in the HBO MAX series ‘Warrior'.

The Irishman - with an all-time UFC record of 22-6 - will star in the 2023 ‘Road House’ remake directed by Doug Limanl, alongside co-star Jake Gyllenhaal.

“I’m like, where is this coming from? What’s all that about? I mean, God bless him. I’m actually on set in Bulgaria and we stopped for a little break, looked at my phone as you do and someone had showed me that on DMs.

"I wasn’t annoyed or anything, just scratching my head, going where’s that coming from out of blue? ... God bless him, he’s doing his first acting role and he’s all pumped about it."

Clearly Bisping won’t be losing any sleep over the McGregor threats, but he’s certainly made an unpredictable enemy.
