However, the outcome of prime Gypsy King vs Iron Mike is always going to be debated, with the question even being posed in front of of Mike Tyson himself, with the former champion offering a great response.

On a podcast, in front of Mike Tyson, former MMA fighter Brendan Schaub said: “Mike, before you answer, this is no disrespect but for me, technically-wise, Fury can go defense. His footwork is great. To me, as far as technique-wise, he is the best we’ve ever had.”

Obviously, Tyson wasn’t going to let that go, offering up a hilarious response, saying: “Listen, just him being Tyson Fury shows my greatness.

“I don’t know. I don’t care if he could beat me or not. His name is Tyson. He can beat me but I don’t care he is named after the greatest fighter that ever lived.”

Does Mike Tyson like Tyson Fury?

Iron Mike has always been an admirer of The Gypsy King, who has had an illustrious career that still isn’t over, despite incredibly tough battles of his own away from the ring.

Previously talking to Europsort, Tyson said: “You can say what you want about Tyson Fury, make fun of him, but there’s one guy in the US named Michael Gerard Tyson who’s so proud he has my name.
