The third round of UEFA Champions League group stage matches is here and one of the matches sees Rangers face Liverpool. We have all the information you need to know ahead of kick-off.

Both sides had very different starts to the group stages as Liverpool have won one and lost one whilst Rangers have been easily beaten in both their matches and also have failed to score.

This sees the Reds in the middle of the group, whilst Rangers are currently bottom of Group A, so there is a lot of work to do for both sides if they want to make the knockouts.

Prediction

Playing Liverpool away from home will be very hard for Rangers; however, Liverpool's form is not great at the moment. With this in mind, we think Liverpool will still be able to come out on top as they have the stronger squad.

Prediction: Liverpool 2-1 Rangers
