FIFA 23 is out worldwide and, as a result, we’re getting plenty of new content from EA Sports.

The football behemoth is currently adding several new players, all of whom are Player of the Month cards.

So far, we’ve had Serie A defender Kim Min-Jae receiving a big upgrade, while Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford won the Premier League POTM award.

In La Liga, the player to win the prize was Real Madrid midfielder, Federico Valverde.

The Uruguay international has received a big boost to his stats; his new card has an 86 rating with 89 pace, 77 shooting, 82 passing, 81 dribbling, 80 defending and 82 physical.

His base card is 84-rated, with 87 pace, 74 shooting, 79 passing, 79 dribbling, 78 defending and 80 physical.

That card costs 58,000 coins, per FUTBIN, but we’ve taken a look at how exactly to complete the POTM Valverde SBC!

Now, Valverde is not going to come cheap.

He has a reasonably expensive base card, so this is to be expected.

Still, per FUTBIN, you’re going to have to put your hand in your pocket if you want to get Valverde’s POTM card.

His cost is as follows.

  • Console: 226,000 Coins
  • PC: 227,000 Coins

That’s a really big price tag for a player who hasn’t received a huge upgrade.

We’d recommend that you use a chemistry style to upgrade Valverde’s base stats and take them closer to the stats of the POTM card.

Spending over 220,000 coins at this stage of the game isn’t going to be an option for many players but if you do have the spare change, you could certainly do a lot worse.
