Arsenal underlined their very real Premier League title credentials as they beat Tottenham over the weekend.

The Gunners painted north London red once again thanks to goals from Thomas Partey, Granit Xhaka, and Gabriel Jesus.

It was a glorious day in the capital sunshine as the Gunners continued their fantastic start to the season.

What lies ahead is anyone's guess, but, sitting pretty atop the league, you can hardly blame the Emirates faithful for feeling a little optimistic.

They have a young, dynamic side playing some of the best football in the league at the moment and, should that continue, they could be the only ones capable of breaking Manchester City's iron-clad grip on the title.

However, the future is for another time and right now, you can be sure that Arsenal fans are basking in the glory of yet another north London domination.

The Emirates atmosphere proves it's doubters wrong

In fact, according to footage that has emerged from within the Emirates, those very fans were already having the time of their lives before the final whistle had even rung out.

The Emirates often comes under heavy fire for its tepid atmosphere, with many bemoaning the fact that it simply has never matched up to the fire and fury of Highbury.

That simply wasn't he case on Saturday, however, with footage showing that the place was positively bouncing as the Gunners romped to victory.

Brilliant - the folk at the Emirates showing everyone how it's done.

Now, the Gunners will need to refocus as they prepare to face a limping Liverpool next up.

Arsenal looking to beat Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp's side may not be mortally wounded just yet, but they will be desperate for a keynote performance to kickstart their stuttering campaign.

The Gunners, who now have a title race to worry about, will be in no mood for handing out favours and will spy a very tasty opportunity to get one over one of their tormentors in chief over recent seasons.

If the Emirates goes off like it did for the visit of Spurs, then Liverpool could be in for a very long afternoon indeed.
