WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair is off TV right now, but the likely plans in store for her return will come as worrying news to some fans.

Flair hasn't been seen on TV since she dropped the SmackDown Women's Championship to Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania Backlash in May.

'The Queen' took some time off to get married to former WWE star Andrade, and there are rumours that she's now ready to return.

What are WWE's plans for Charlotte Flair?

Triple H is known to be a big fan of Charlotte Flair, who Mickie James recently labelled as "one of the best wrestlers" in the world, so fans have expected her to return in a high-profile manner since 'The Game' became Head of Creative in July.

During a recent appearance on FOX, Flair hinted that she's going to be targeting Bianca Belair, only added more fuel to that speculation.

Based on what Charlotte had to say, it seems like she'll be back on the Raw brand when she returns to TV, going after the Raw Women's Championship, as summarised via WrestleTalk.

When asked about her next move, Flair indicated that she’s paying close attention to Bianca Belair and the Raw Women’s Championship, hinting that she’ll go after the Raw Women’s Title upon her return.

The Raw Women's title will be on the line in a ladder match at Extreme Rules on Saturday night as Belair defends her title against Bayley.

The hints from Flair could suggest that Bianca will retain her title this weekend, before entering a feud with the returning Charlotte during the final few months of 2022.

Why might WWE fans be worried by Flair's return plans?

Of course, it's worth noting that no one is reporting outright that Flair will be going after the Women's title immediately upon her return, but all signs seem to be pointing in that direction.

It's unlikely that Charlotte wouldn't be aware of her return plans by now, and she surely wouldn't hint at going after the title if that wasn't what was being lined up for her.

Fans have, if we're being honest, quite enjoyed Flair being out of the title picture over the last few months, allowing the likes of Liv Morgan and Bianca longer runs that they might not have otherwise had.

Flair has largely been involved in at least one of the top women's feuds within WWE at pretty much every point during her run on WWE's main roster, which started during the summer of 2015.

Fans would have been hoping that perhaps Flair would have been made to make her way up the card once again after six months out, but that doesn't appear to be what's happening.

It's worth noting that these plans are concrete right now, so GiveMeSport will keep you updated with all the latest on what WWE has in store for Flair.
