Robbi Jade Lew has become embroiled in a 'scandal’ that has rocked the poker community, but who is she and what’s the latest on the situation? During a Hustler Casino live stream, Lew won a pot of $269,000 (£235,000) against fellow player Garrett Adelstein –– much to his shock. Indeed, Adelstein, a famous cash game player and regular on the live stream, later insisted he was “clearly cheated”. Off camera, Lew gave Adelstein his chips back, but the situation has nonetheless led to accusations of cheating on Lew’s behalf.

Why has Robbi Jade Lew been accused of cheating?

Adelstein started with the seven and eight of clubs as his hole cards and quickly entered the hand.

Lew, meanwhile, played wider with the jack of clubs and four of hearts.

Following the flop, which consisted of the 10 of hearts, 10 of clubs and nine of clubs, Adelstein had an open-ended straight flush draw, a flush draw, and a straight draw.

The turn saw the three of hearts appear, prompting Lew to min-raise Adelstein’s $10,000 (£8,700) bet to $20,000 (£17,500) to get to the river card.

When Adelstein then shoved to move all-in, Lew then called his bet to grow the pot to $269,000.

They agreed to play the river twice but Lew won them both.

Some fans have alleged that Lew must’ve known what Adelstein’s hand was to move all in, but she has denied these accusations.
