Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards were back in the CBS Sports studio on Tuesday night to cover the latest round of Champions League fixtures. And viewers in the United States were treated to another evening of insight and hilarity from the former Premier League stars.Ahead of the 8pm kick-offs, the pundits looked at the impact that Robert Lewandowski and Erling Haaland have had at Barcelona and Manchester City, respectively. The world-class strikers’ stats are similar, although Haaland leads the way with most of the key metrics, including 17 goals and three assists compared to Lewandowski’s tally of 12 goals and two assists so far this season.Robert Lewandowski has started well at BarcelonaMALLORCA, SPAIN - OCTOBER 01: Robert Lewandowski of FC Barcelona celebrates after scoring their team's first goal during the LaLiga Santander match between RCD Mallorca and FC Barcelona at Estadi de Son Moix on October 01, 2022 in Mallorca, Spain. What did Henry say on the Lewandowski vs Haaland debate?

Henry feels that Lewandowski’s having as big an impact at Camp Nou as Haaland is having at the Etihad Stadium.

“But nobody is disputing what Haaland is doing,” the legendary French striker said. “What Haaland is doing is stupid - in a good way!”

Asked if Haaland would have the same impact at Barcelona, Henry replied: “It’s a different ball game. Like I always say, you have to cast the right actor for the right movie.

“Haaland is the perfect actor for [Man City].”

What did Thierry Henry say about Bolton?

Henry then used Bolton Wanderers as an example of a club that he wouldn’t have been able to make an impact at, despite his world-class talent.

“I wouldn’t have played for Bolton,” he said. “Are you mad?”

Presenter Kate Abdo and Carragher burst out laughing at Henry’s dig at Bolton, while a shocked Richards said: “Wow!”

Elaborating, Henry added: “If you asked me to play long ball under Sam Allardyce, I would have left at half-time!”

The conversation then turned to which actor would play Henry in a movie. The Arsenal legend said Will Smith but conceded that he probably can’t say that now after what happened at the 2022 Oscars.

Richards said that he’d want Denzel Washington to play him in a film, but the former Man City and England right-back was left in hysterics when Henry suggested Terry Crews from White Chicks would be a better fit instead.
