Manchester City could entice even more stars to the Etihad Stadium in the upcoming transfer windows thanks to Erling Haaland's 'pulling power', according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth.

Citizens boss Pep Guardiola bolstered his squad by parting with more than £125million ahead of the September 1 deadline, but he will be given the opportunity to make further additions in January.

What's the latest news involving Haaland?

Manchester City splashed out £51million as they acquired Haaland from Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund during the summer transfer window.

The Norwegian has taken the Premier League by storm, finding the back of the net 14 times in just eight appearances ahead of facing Southampton on Saturday.

Haaland also made history during the 6-3 thumping of arch-rivals Manchester United last weekend as he became the first player in Premier League history to score a hat-trick in three consecutive home matches.

But there are already doubts over the 22-year-old's long-term future as his father, Alf-Inge, has claimed that Haaland will only remain with Manchester City for a maximum of four years as he wants to prove himself in various countries.

An exit clause written into the striker's contract reportedly means he could join Real Madrid in 2024.

What has Dharmesh Sheth said about Haaland?

Sheth believes Manchester City are becoming an unstoppable force thanks to Haaland's devastating form since joining from Dortmund.

The Sky Sports reporter feels the 23-cap Norway international's presence could make a switch to the Etihad Stadium an even more attractive proposition for targets in the future.

Sheth told GIVEMESPORT: "It's absolutely astonishing what he's doing. If they keep him fit, you can't imagine how anybody is going to be able to get close to Manchester City.

"Also, what is ominous for everybody else is the fact that Haaland has chosen to go to Manchester City. Look at the pulling power that is now going to have to other players."

Who could Manchester City sign thanks to Haaland's presence?

CBS reporter Ben Jacobs has previously revealed to GIVEMESPORT that Haaland has 'directly told' former Dortmund team-mate Jude Bellingham to follow in his footsteps and join Manchester City.

According to The Sun, the Citizens are convinced they will win the race to lure the central midfielder back to his homeland next year.

The report suggests a deal could be struck for Bellingham - a 17-cap England international - if a fee of £83million is paid upfront during the 2023 summer transfer window, but Manchester City are facing competition from the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United.
