Brazil are the favourites to win the 2022 World Cup out in Qatar.

The South American nation are the most successful team in the tournament's history, having triumphed on five separate occasions.

Pele helped the country achieve successes in 1958, 1962 and 1970, while Roberto Baggio's infamous penalty miss in a shootout handed them victory in 1994.

And the last time Brazil got their hands on the trophy was in 2002, when a returning Ronaldo Nazario took the World Cup by storm.

Since then, the Selecao have failed to reach even the final and were eliminated at the quarter-final stage by Belgium in 2018.

Will 2022 be different for Brazil?

Brazil were actually the favourites to triumph in Russia over four years ago, but things with regards to that label just feel different for Qatar in the winter months.

The volume of high-quality footballers available to manager Tite is quite simply extraordinary and narrowing it down to just 26 players won't be easy for him at all.

In every single department, Brazil have at least three top-class options, something which the folks over at Transfermarkt have highlighted with a brilliant graphic.

Check it out in all of its glory...

Total value of the 33 players above: €1.38 billion

Insane, right?

What makes the graphic even more remarkable is the fact that Thiago Silva (€2.5 million) and Dani Alves (€1 million) are missing due to their low valuations - which are simply down to their age.

The nine players in the three forward roles are an absolute joke to be honest. Firmino, Raphina and Martinelli as only the third-best options in their position? Yeah, that's just obscene.

You really feel sorry for Serbia, Switzerland and Cameroon, who're in Group G with Brazil at the Qatar World Cup...
