Everton are one of the most successful sides in English football history.

The Merseyside club have won 30 trophies in their history, including being crowned English champions nine times and five FA Cup triumphs.

However, they have not had too much success in recent years when it comes to lifting silverware.

When did Everton last win a major trophy?

Everton's last major trophy came all the way back in 1995, when they lifted their fifth FA Cup after defeating Manchester United at Wembley Stadium.

Paul Rideout scored the only goal of the game as Everton shocked United.

It has now been over 10,000 days since that day.

When did every Premier League club win their last major trophy?

Everton have reached an unwelcomed landmark, but how does their trophy drought compare to the other 19 clubs currently in England's top tier?

Back in March, Planet Sport listed how many days every Premier League side had gone without winning a major trophy.

Their definition of a major trophy was any one of the Premier League/First Division, the League Cup, the FA Cup, the Champions League, the Europa League, the UEFA Super Cup, or the Club World Cup.

We've updated their list following Everton reaching the 10,000 day landmark and you can view every Premier League's side major trophy drought below...

It could be worse for Everton

Everton have gone on a lengthy drought since picking up silverware, but many teams in the Premier League are currently on a longer trophy drought.

Aston Villa are closing in on 10,000 days without a major trophy, while Newcastle's drought could reach 25,000 days.
