The report explains that Steveson's heart condition was discovered before he travelled to Tokyo for the delayed 2020 Olympic Games, meaning WWE would have been aware of the issue before signing him.

The procedure aimed to fix Steveson's Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, which causes a rapid heartbeat. The idea if to use small burns and freezes to create scarring on the inside of the heart to help maintain a regular rhythm.
