WWE Superstar Zelina Vega is set to make her return during tonight's episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

The winner of the first-ever Queen's Crown tournament hasn't wrestled since April 2022, but that could be about to change.

Vega, who underwent surgery back in May, is now fit and ready to make her return, which is going down tonight.

What is WWE planning for Zelina Vega on SmackDown tonight?

Vega, as noted, has been missing from WWE TV for just shy of six months at this stage, but she's set to return tonight.

PWInsider is reporting that Vega has been spotted in Boston ahead of tonight's show, with the 31-year-old writing into the broadcast for the show.

WWE star Zelina Vega has been spotted at the Boston Airport in advance of the Smackdown Season premiere on FOX tonight. PWInsider.com has confirmed that she's written into tonight's broadcast and is sporting a new look, blonde look.

Vega has gotten herself into incredible shape recently, proving that her hard work in the gym has been paying off, as she showed off with a Twitter selfie this week.

At the time of writing, there is no word on what Triple H has planned for Vega during tonight's season premiere episode of SmackDown.

What else does Triple H have planned for SmackDown?

Tonight's show will see Logan Paul confront Roman Reigns, as well as Gunther defending his Intercontinental Championship against Sheamus, but that isn't all Triple H has planned.

PWInsider is also reporting that Legado Del Fantasma will be debuting on the show, as has been rumoured to happen for much of the summer.

PWInsider.com has confirmed that Legao del Fantasma are scheduled to make their debut tonight on WWE's Friday Night Smackdown. Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza have been spotted thus far in Worcester, MA.

The report doesn't note that Elektra Lopez has been left in NXT, but it's worth pointing out that she hasn't been spotted yet ahead of tonight's show, unlike her stablemates.

Tonight's show will not just be the season premiere of SmackDown, but is also the go-home show before Extreme Rules tomorrow night, so viewership is likely to be quite high.

The show will also see SmackDown's new-look commentary team, with Michael Cole being joined by former WWE Superstar Wade Barrett in his first main roster appearance since 2016.

You can watch WWE SmackDown live tonight on FOX in the US and in the UK on BT Sport.
