Chelsea loanee Malang Sarr scored one of the strangest own goals of the season for Monaco on Thursday evening.
The 23-year-old was deemed surplus to requirements by Thomas Tuchel in the summer and moved to Monaco on a season-long loan.
The defender has been used sporadically by the French club to start the campaign but he was handed the opportunity to impress in their Europa League clash against Trabzonspor.
However, Sarr endured a disastrous night at Medical Park Stadyumu.
Sarr played the full 90 minutes as Monaco were thrashed 4-0.
It was his comical own-goal that gave the home side the lead in the 44th minute.

The ball was passed back to Monaco's goalkeeper, Alexander Nübel, who got his head up and tried to pick out the left-back.
However, his pass cannoned off Sarr, who was running back towards his own goal. The ball then took one bounce before nestling in the back of the net.

In truth, Sarr can't take the majority of the blame: Nubel was also partly at fault.

Monaco at risk of Europa League elimination
Monaco are in danger of failing to finish in the top two of their group and qualifying for the Europa League knockout rounds.
Philippe Clement's side have accumulated six points from their opening four games in Group H.
They are positioned in third, three points behind leaders Ferencvaros.
The Ligue 1 side travel to the Hungarian side for their next European game on October 27. A loss could spell the end of their campaign.
