There were bizarre scenes at the Misfits Series 002 boxing weigh-in as Astrid Wett attempted to kiss Misfits Boxing CEO KSI. Wett is scheduled to face TikTok star Keeley Colbran at the Misfits event this Saturday, where Jay Swingler will take on Cherdleys in the main event. Ahead of their fight, both Wett and Colbran were trash-talking one another at the weigh-in and things escalated after Colbran appeared to suggest that Wett had a secret boyfriend.In response, Wett stated: "Do you think if I had a boyfriend, I’d do this,” before attempting to kiss the renowned YouTuber.KSI quickly swerved Wett’s advances, before proceeding to laugh at the situation. Video: Astrid Wett attempts to kiss KSI at Misfits Series 002 weigh-in

How is Astrid Wett’s boxing training going? 

Wett was due to face Elle Brooke at Kingpyn’s boxing event in July but pulled out over safety fears. 

However, the 22-year-old has stressed she is now ready to take to the ring and that her full training camp for the fight has gone well. 

Speaking to Fred Talks Fighting, Wett said: "I already had a bit of the base fitness there, so this time it was more fine-tuning technique, getting that fitness back up and trying to improve in every aspect really.” 

Wett also emphasised that she’s not worried about her opponent’s preparations and is just doing her own thing. 

"To be honest with you, I’ve been focusing on myself and haven’t really been focusing a lot on what she’s been doing. If she’s chosen not to train that much, then that’s her bad. If she has, then I’m excited to see what she can bring to the ring but I’m just focusing on what I can do.”

What is Misfits Series 002 Jay Swingler vs Cherdleys? 

KSI created the promotional boxing company Misfits in the hope of creating more influencer boxing cards. 

The latest event will see Swingler face Cherdleys at the Utilita Aena in Sheffield. 

For those wanting to watch the fight, the undercard is scheduled to get underway at 7pm BST.
